Each May, the RMS & SHS Band program sends a proud group of students to the Jacksonville State University Honor Band. Last year, we took a record 53 students to Jacksonville! That’s more students than almost any other participating school. This year, we’d love to take even more students.
This honor band is a wonderful experience for student musicians. It is especially encouraging for younger players who have not participated in this type of event before. The JSU Honor Band also offers a glimpse into college and campus life for seniors, as students get to stay on campus in University Housing.

DEADLINE: Registration closes March 25th. All participants must register online in order to be accepted.

COST/HOW TO PAY: $140.00
The PRIDE Music Association will write one check to JSU for our students in order to cut down on registration paper work. As such, we ask that you do not pay online after your application is complete. We will travel to Jacksonville together as a group via school bus. In order to pay towards the cost of transportation, each student has been asked to pay $5.
Please turn in checks payable to: The PRIDE Music Association to the Directors by April 12th.
